Let's examine this event which is called as breaking or explosion of glasses and which really bothers the consumer as well as the producer. The feature of tempered glass is that it is strengthened 5 times more than normal glasses. We can think of it as turning the eggs we know from horizontal to vertical. Tempered glass can vary depending on the thickness used. It is produced by heating at 600-700 degrees and cooling suddenly, this does not mean that it will not break with certainty, but when a correctly tempered glass is broken between 4-12 mm thickness, 360 mm x 1100 mm, it is divided into at least 40 pieces. These pieces may rarely damage in the form of cuts or scratches in close contact.

In order for this break to occur, the broken part must be subjected to impact with a hard object. A tempered glass exposed to impact may not be broken at the same time, this period can be up to 10 days after being hit.
